WMS Die Landschaftsplanung erarbeitet konkretisierte Ziele sowie raumkonkrete Aussagen zu den Erfordernissen und Maßnahmen von Naturschutz und Landschaftspflege (§§ 8-9 BNatSchG). Die Planungsebene der überörtlichen Landschaftsplanung unterteilt sich in das Landschaftsprogramm für den Bereich eines Landes sowie den Landschaftsrahmenpläne für Teile des Landes (§ 10 BNatSchG). Auf Ebene der örtlichen Landschaftsplanung werden die Ziele, Erfordernisse und Maßnahmen des Naturschutzes und der Landespflege für die Gebiete der Gemeinden in Landschaftsplänen und für Teile eines Gemeindegebietes in Grünordnungspläne dargestellt (§ 11 BNatSchG). Das Landschaftsplanverzeichnis des BfN bietet dahingehend umfangreiche Informationen zur Umsetzung der überörtlichen Landschaftsplanung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Die erhobenen Daten geben Überblick zum aktuellen Planungsstand, zur Ausführung und zur Umsetzung von Landschaftsprogrammen und Landschaftsrahmenplänen. Da nicht jedes Land eigenständige Planwerke der Landschaftsplanung erarbeitet, wurden auch entsprechende Daten der räumlichen Gesamtplanung miteinbezogen. Ebenso finden sich entsprechende Fachbeiträge zur Landschaftsrahmenplanung sowie aufgehobene Planwerke im Landschaftsplanverzeichnis.
